Reminisce

I've been feeling nostalgic lately as I I remember my favorite Torta from my childhood days. Those were the days when I'd have sleepless nights because of my anticipation for incoming fiesta, my eagerness to go about visiting my friends house and not to mention the abundant food almost everywhere.




Although the recipe yields a not so close texture to the Torta I know, nevertheless it was quite good. I ended up eating quite a few pieces and in so doing my sugar cravings went haywire. Oh! for the love of Torta so be it!
